Revolutionary Yarn Helps Hilden To Win Top Restaurant Contract
Tablelinens by Hilden have been chosen as the finishing touch to a major restaurant
revamp in Manchester.
After a five week refurbishment costing £350,000, the Yang Sing restaurant reopened with a stunning new look. The restaurant, located on Princess Street in Manchester, enlisted the help of acclaimed commercial interior designer Roberta Fulford, who has created a striking contemporary homage to 1930's Shanghai.
It was Roberta who recommended Hilden as a potential tablelinen supplier back in October. Hilden were invited to quote, along with a number of competitors, and were finally awarded the contract on the strength of the ease of laundering and the durability of the Alpha spun-polyester range. The innovative spun polyester has a cotton feel without diminishing the properties associated with man-made fibres. Alpha is hard wearing and long lasting, with low shrinkage, excellent stain resistance and superb colour retention, making it the perfect tablelinen for restaurants like Yang Sing which have a high volume of customers.
After Hilden provided a wide selection of swatches and samples, the final decision was made to go with the popular Alpha Plain, in the new Cocoa shade, complimented by Cream napkins.
Roberta Fulford commented “The Hilden table cloths are the perfect finishing touch to compliment Yang Sing's luxurious new look.”
In fact, the restaurant is so impressed with the original £10,000 order that a repeat order has already been placed.
