Why use an All Seasons duvet?

Updated on: April 7 2015

The warmer months are heading our way, although it’s always hard to fully prepare for the British weather. One day it could be hot and sunny with nary a cloud in the sky while the next day a cold snap has arrived and it’s raining from the heavens. Ensuring that your bed linen caters for the current season can be tough as you don’t want to have to buy lots of different duvets that can be brought out of storage depending on the season, especially when your establishment has a lot of rooms. The answer is an All Seasons duvet that can be used year-round, but what exactly are the benefits of an All Seasons duvet?

  • Save yourself some money – All Seasons duvets can be more expensive than other duvet types, but don’t be fooled as they can actually save you money in the long run. A lot of establishments want to cater for both the warmer and colder weather, which can be difficult to do with just one duvet. An All Seasons duvet has a 4.5 tog summer duvet and a 9 tog autumn/spring duvet that can be used alone for the relevant season or can be fixed together to produce a snugly warm 13.5 tog winter duvet. This means you only need to buy one duvet instead of 3!
  • Be prepared – having an All Seasons duvet at your disposal means you’re always prepared for a change in weather. If you’re preparing your B&B and the weather is more balmy than usual you can quickly remove part of the duvet to keep your guests cool and comfortable.
  • Space saver – In winter you’ll have both duvets fixed together, meaning nothing to store away. In summer or spring, you may store one of the duvet sections away, but that’s much better than having to store 2 extra per room away!

Hilden currently has natural filled All Season duvets and synthetic filled All Season duvets in stock.
