We are excited to confirm that our brand new, 60,000 square foot warehouse is now fully live and operational, further enhancing our service and delivery to all customers.
Our new warehouse is testament to the huge growth of our company over the last three years as demand for our products has continued to surge. As such we needed bigger premises to hold more stock so that we can continue our promise of excellence to all our customers.
The huge relocation of our warehousing facility took more than three months to move more than 8,000 pallets of stock and was one of the largest relocation projects in Hilden’s 140 year history.
The new warehouse, located in Blackburn, Lancashire, is just a stones throw away from our head office, and is much bigger and higher than our last premises. The move has allowed us to hold more stock, bring in new stock control processes and hire more staff as we continue to grow and expand as part of the wider Vision Support Services Group.
We also have plans to build a brand new sample room on site where we will have dedicated innovation space to continue expanding our product base and keep abreast of new trends in the industry.
We want to thank all of our loyal customers for their patience during such a big move and a major change in our company, the end goal of which has always been to provide better service to you.
How our new warehouse will benefit you:
- 60,000 square feet allows us to store more products than ever before and ensure there are no delays when placing orders
- 8,000 pallets of stock on site complete with new stock control processes further enhances delivery time and combats any chance of delays or out of stock messages on our website
- 10 metres (three stories) high means even more space for products and allows us to innovatively continue expanding our own ranges and bring more products under our brand
- Four brand new flexi trucks to improve picking and packing speeds on site further improving delivery time to you
