The Hilden Style Awards have now come to a close. We have spent the last month judging the entries and visiting all the finalists for each of the categories and we couldn’t be more excited to announce our winners. The calibre of the entries this year was unbelievably high, across all three categories, which made it so difficult for our judges to come to a final decision.
The winner of the B&B category is 23 Mayfield, a tastefully renovated Victorian property in Edinburgh.
23 Mayfield is a beautifully renovated property, bringing old and classic styles into the modern world. Built in 1868 during the reign of Queen Victoria, it is typical of the traditional architecture of it’s period. All rooms are decorated in a bespoke manner, with handcrafted solid mahogany furniture to suite the theme of the room.
The property has a comfortable lounge room with a roaring fire. This hosts black and white old movie nights, where guests can help themselves to fresh popcorn and a drink from the bar. If grandeur is what someone is looking for, this place is perfect. Candlelit breakfasts, hot tub in a private garden and deep mahogany interiors is what they will find.
We’d like to congratulate 23 Mayfield on winning the B&B category of the Hilden Style Awards 2014.
