With an extremely high calibre of entries to this year’s Hilden Style Awards, it’s definitely making for a difficult decision for our judges. Here we give you a glimpse at the Restaurant categories’ three finalists….
The Fable, London
Inspired by the fantasy world of fairy tales, the fabulous fables of Aesop and influences from around the globe, The Fable is a bar and restaurant out of the ordinary. Every detail tells a story – and the attention to detail here is phenomenal. You can expect fresh herbs on each table, fairy-tale wallpaper, a bathtub sprouting with colourful blooms and much more! The menu isn’t scrimped on either – you can expect a large, eclectic menu, serving food with a twist at reasonable prices!

The Yorkshire Meatball Company, Harrogate
A uniquely designed restaurant – the UK’s first and only speciality Meatball café-bar! This newcomer only opened their doors in March this year and has already been voted for an array of awards, including Best Newcomer in the 2014 local hospitality awards. They offer a homely yet quirky dining environment where you can expect light fitting made from colanders and cheese graters. The menu will not disappoint. With over 180 ways to enjoy meatballs, fish balls or veggie balls (as well as weekly specials) you won’t be disappointed!

Step into style when you visit Gaucho, an Argentinian restaurant that brings some of the best steaks to England. The fine dining choices here are varied with a wine list including over 100 bottles, as well as varied ways to have your steak. The staff are truly knowledgeable in their meat too which adds nice touch! With a strong black and white theme throughout, you can expect interiors such as the walls covered in cowhide, a futuristic bar area and impressive chandeliers.
