This month’s Member Spotlight is The Grange, part of accommodation St Austell in Cornwall. The Grange is a small family run Bed and Breakfast ideally located in the heart of the Cornish Riviera, just minutes from the legendary Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. With the unique beauty of the south Cornish coast on their doorstep and countless world-class attractions nearby, a holiday at The Grange is all about unwinding and making the most of these magical surroundings. The Grange is of period character and manages to find the balance between comfort and style for their guests. Sally from The Grange was kind enough to give us some insight into the business.
The Grange is a beautiful property – Please can you tell us a bit more about it and it’s history
The Grange was purchased early this year and opened its doors in May 2013. It has had a complete make over including rewiring and new heating as well as completely gutting each of the rooms to make what it is today. We wanted to make The Grange a small, luxury Bed & Breakfast, offering a more bespoke service to our customers and adding little touches that you don’t always get in other establishments.
What would you say is your busiest time of year?
Our busiest times are generally from April- September then going into mid season from October.
If you could recommend one Hilden product to our readers what would it be and why?
We would be more than happy to recommend Hilden products. My particular favourite being your luxury Ultimate 100% Turkish Combed Cotton Towel because of the quality, thickness and cosy feel they have to them.
How often do you find yourself changing your linens in the property?
We would normally up date our products at least once to twice a year to keep the quality in pristine condition.
What are the specifics you look for when choosing bedding for your property?
When looking for linen we look at the quality, durability and costings.
